William “Bill” Joseph Wilson, Jr., 56, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington.

A visitation will be held from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the United Methodist Church, 1211 South Business Highway 13, Lexington, Missouri. Memorial service will follow at the church. Inurnment will directly follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lexington. Bill was born on October 9, 1969, in North Kansas City, Missouri to William “Bill” Joseph Wilson, Sr. and Doris (Wortheam) Bolton. On October 23, 1999, he was united in marriage to Rose Michelle (Mallot) Wilson in Lexington, Missouri. She preceded in death on October 28, 2015. Bill was a proud owner and operator of Well-Done Tree Trimming. In addition to his work, Bill found joy in his hobbies. He was a talented woodcarver, a skilled model car builder, and a Lego enthusiast. Bill’s creative spirit often showed through in his playful nature, as he was known for being a jokester who brought smiles and laughter to those around him. He cherished the moments spent with family. Bill was known for his mischievous spirit and infectious laughter. He had a remarkable ability to brighten any room, often bringing joy and light to those around him. While his playful antics could catch you off guard, his generosity and kindness were unparalleled. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to his loved ones.

Bill is survived by a daughter, Sandra Wilson of Richmond, MO; two grandchildren, Alana Jefferson of Lexington, MO and Tiara Smith of Woodward, OK; one great-grandchild, Amani Rose Jefferson and a future great-grandson, Amir Joseph Jefferson; one sister, Paula (Ballard) Smith of Richmond, MO; and many other relatives and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
