Timothy “Tim” Blaine Brown, 62, of Lexington, Missouri a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 7, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri. Born on January 6, 1964, in Columbia, Missouri, To Alvin and Glenda (Hickey) Brown. Tim’s life was a testament to kindness, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, located at 525 S Business Hwy 13, Lexington, Missouri, 64067., followed by the funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Burial to follow at Machpelah Cemetery. Memorial to be given to the Missouri Conservation. Tim’s journey began in Columbia, Missouri being raised by Glenda and Raymond Porter, and though the path of life brought its challenges, including becoming disabled after many years of dedicated work in concrete, he faced each day with a welcoming spirit and a great sense of humor. His service in the National Guard was a proud chapter in his life, reflecting his deep love of country and duty.
Known for being everyone’s friend and a family man at heart, Tim found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, activities that brought him peace and connection with nature. He also enjoyed the playful modern pastimes of watching Facebook reels and playing games on his phone, proving his adaptability and lightheartedness in the changing world. One of his more unique hobbies was mushroom hunting, a pastime that showcased his curiosity and love for the outdoors.
Those closest to Tim remember him fondly for the memories made around sizzling barbecues and smoked meats, and the cherished family gatherings where he was always at the center, spreading laughter and love. His warm personality and generosity made every encounter special, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the honor to know him. Perhaps Tim’s proudest moments were becoming a loving father and marrying the love of his life, Renade Brown, in November 1992. Together, they built a family filled with love and support.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Robin Brown, and beloved grandchildren Kirsten and Johnathon II, who remain forever in the hearts of his family.
Tim is survived by his devoted wife Renade; children Bradley and Heather, David and Ashley, Heather, Jennifer and Marcus, Katherine and Johnathon, Megan and Jason; and a cherished circle of grandchildren: Kenton, Brooklyn, Riley, Mason, Aaliyah, Antonio, Nicholas, Hannah, Caden, Natalie, Dom, Nora, Gia, Milah, Dreyton, and Olivia. His siblings Kimberly Porter, Stephen and Malia, Alyn and Angie, Phillip, Danny, and Donnie. He will also be fondly remembered by many other extended family and friends.
