Sharon Kay Wilson, 71, of Odessa, Missouri passed away April 19, 2018 at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11:00am at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 South Second Street, Odessa, 816-633-5524. Visitation will also be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00am until 11:00am. Burial will be in Glenstead Cemetery, Versailles, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the family.
Sharon was born November 25, 1946 in Brumley, Missouri to James Willard and Laura Opal (Grosvenor) Hedrick. She worked at Odessa One Stop and SAS Shoes. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Sharon enjoyed gardening, her pets and watching movies.
Sharon is survived by her son, Harold Wilson, Jr. of Odessa; sisters, Shirley Hudson of St. Louis, Missouri, Sue Schreck of Clarksburg, Missouri, Laura Sousley of Odessa, Bethel Wilson and Mary June Cobb both of Syracuse, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ray Hedrick, and sisters Marie Cochran, Bonnie Hedrick and Wilma Sapp.
