Robert Maurice Stephenson

Robert “Bob” Maurice Stephenson, 78, of Buckner, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Kansas City VA Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home 306 South Second Street Odessa, MO 64076.  A graveside service with military honors will follow after visitation at Odessa Cemetery. Bob was born August 04, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri to Thomas A. Stephenson and Marilyn (Geddes) Arnold. He attended Odessa High School. Bob worked for Ernie Campbell Construction as a carpenter for many years. Along with spending time with family and friends, Bob enjoyed gambling, watching wrestling, was an avid Chiefs fan, and his dog “Buster”.

Bob is survived by four children, Sharon (Dustin) Hornbostel of Odessa, MO, Robert (Kim) Stephenson of Maitland, FL, Dawn (Mark) Makowski of Milwaukee, WI, and Theresa Leto of Waukesha, WI; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Stephenson; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by both his parents and stepfather, Randy Arnold.
