Phyllis (Hilker) Reeves Bost, 83 of Las Vegas, Nevada formerly of Wellington, MO passed away on August 12, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2024, at St. Luke Evangelical Free Church, 700 MO-224, Wellington, MO, 64097. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Siteman Cancer Center. Phyllis was born on September 29, 1940, in Wellington, MO to John and Olinda Hilker. She was united in marriage to Jack Reeves in 1958 and later divorced in 1983 after 25 years of marriage. Phyllis later married David Bost of Wellington, MO in 1986 and divorced in 1994. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1958. For those who knew Phyllis, knew she was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, loved being at the lake and was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Phyllis loved to travel, she has visited all 50 states, Mexico and Canada. Her sister Mildred accompanied her on many of her adventures. She was an Administrative Assistant for the majority of her career and retired from Barnes Jewish Hospital in 2014.
Phyllis is survived by her four children, Christine (Clint) Lakamp of Cedar Hill, MO, Tammy (Don) Olmstead of Las Vegas, NV, Tim (Mona) Reeves of De Soto, MO, and Stefanie (Roger) Maucher of High Ridge, MO; one sister, Mildred McNelly of Carrollton, MO; 16 grandchildren, Jesse Busk, Jake Busk, Tiffany Lakamp, Colton Lakamp, Shane Olmstead, Newell Olmstead, Lindsay Olmstead, Mandy Steinmetz, Sheree Chazell, Mark Reeves, Justin Reeves, Patrick Reeves, Spencer Maucher, Erika Maucher, John Maucher, and Carli Maucher; 33 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford Hilker and John Hilker; one sister, Joan Thorpe; 2 grandchildren, Spencer Maucher and Erika Maucher; and her beloved furry friend, Mya.
