Patrick Noel Hanna, 88, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at New Haven Living Center in Odessa, MO.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Missouri Veteran Cemetery, 20109 Bus, MO-13, Higginsville, MO, 64037. A family hosted Celebration of Life will follow at 3:30 p.m. at St. George Parish Hall, 202 W. Phillips Street, Odessa, MO, 64076. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Patrick was born on November 25, 1933, in Dublin, Ireland to Patrick and Kathleen Hanna. Following his childhood education, Patrick enlisted in the United States Army on December 12, 1956, in Fort Dix, NJ, serving until honorably discharged on December 11, 1958, in Heidelberg, NY. In 1958 he was united in marriage to Ingeborg Mohr in Germany. Patrick was Vice-President of Kansas City Life Insurance, where he worked for over 20 years. In addition to spending time with family and friends, he enjoyed fishing, farming, boating, and camping.
Survivors include a daughter, Lulu Schambers (Ted) of Odessa, MO; three grandchildren, Patrick Schambers (Lindsay), Crystal Brandel (Justin) and Rachel Mills (Sterling); and six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Jillian, Luke, Garrett, Tanner and Christian.
In addition to his wife, Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
