Pamala “Pam” Jean Dyer, 62 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO, 64138. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Kandis Lancaster, for a charity to be chosen at a later date. Pam was born on August 25, 1963, in Lexington, MO to Phillip and Donna Thomas. She was united in marriage to Randy Lee Dyer on October 9, 1984, in Lexington, MO. He preceded her in death on June 28, 2015. Pam was employed with Dollar General and later with Love’s Truck Stop in Bates City, MO as a cashier. In addition to spending time with her family, friends, and cats, Pam enjoyed camping, crafts, and playing pool, but her greatest joy was being a memaw to her grandchildren.
Pam is survived by six children, Joseph (Nikki) Dyer of Odessa, MO, Tosha Dyer of Odessa, MO, Brandon Dyer of Odessa, MO, Victoria (Addison) Boatwright of Belton, MO, Emily Dyer and fiancé Ian Levasseur of New Brighton, MN, and Kandis (Dustin) Lancaster of Odessa, MO; seven grandchildren, Gracie Ludeke, Michael Bolinger, Landon Linkhart, Brynn Dyer, Cobain Dyer, Banks Lancaster, and Riggs Lancaster; one sister, Cynthia Thomas of Blue Springs, MO; and many relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pam was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Thomas.
