Nedra Lynn (Taylor) Greenfield, 70, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
Nedra was born on October 27, 1949 in Hutchinson, KS to Harold and Dorothy (Logan) Taylor. She was a 1967 graduate from Buhler High School in Buhler, KS. On April 7, 1979 she was united in marriage to Thomas “Tom” Greenfield in Lee’s Summit, MO. Nedra worked in customer service for AT&T for over 10 years before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Odessa and a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 5675. Nedra enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Tom, survivors include a son, Dale Blaine Copenhaver of Marshall, MO; two granddaughters, Diana Copenhaver of Warrensburg, MO and Samantha Ortega of Apopka, FL; three great grandchildren, Karter, Claire, and Kendall Jennings; a sister, Terri Ramos of Hutchinson, KS; a niece, Heather Ramos of Hutchinson, KS; a nephew, Adam Ramos and wife Mandy of Wellington, KS; and many friends and relatives.
Nedra was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Brenda Taylor.
The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 5675, 9642 E Old Hwy 40, Odessa, MO, 64076. Cremation per family’s wishes, has been entrusted to Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd Street, Odessa, MO, 64076. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the VFW Auxiliary Post 5675.
