Nancy Kaye (Price) Sharon, 82 of Stover, Missouri formerly of Lexington, MO passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Stover, 102 Cherry St., Stover, MO, 65078. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the church. Inurnment will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2025, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 20109 Bus. Nancy was born on December 3, 1942, in Fayette, MO to Wendell Dickerson and Dixie June (Bailey) Price. She graduated from North Kansas City High School in North Kansas City, MO. On July 7, 1970, Nancy was united in marriage to Larry Hugh Sharon in Richmond, MO. Nancy worked many years for Foley Construction Company as an Assistant Secretary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Stover. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Nancy enjoyed quilting, china painting, cooking, tending to her flower garden, and traveling.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Larry Sharon of Stover, MO; three children, Jimmy (Donna) Durkee of Shawnee, KS, Matthew (Pamela) Sharon of Barnett, MO, and Amy (Jeremy) Buckallew of Wellington, MO; 16 grandchildren, Jade, Tyler, Kendall, Chandler, Jamie, Keaton, Collin, Jordan, Josh, Moriah, Mark, Jason, Ashley, Marissa, Blair, and Samantha; and seven great grandchildren; one sister, Winnie (Du) Rapp of Lee’s Summit, MO; and many relatives and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
