Nancy Carol (Oles) Riggle, 86, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at her residence surrounded by loving family.
A funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2026, at Lexington United Methodist Church, 1211 S. Business Hwy 13, Lexington, Missouri 64067. Interment will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Memorials are suggested to Shirkey’s Hospice. Memories of Nancy and condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com. Nancy was born on March 27, 1939, in Lexington, Missouri to Steven Eugene and Bertha Bella (Parker) Oles. In 1957, she graduated from Lexington High School. Nancy worked for many years in accounting/payroll at Lafayette Regional Health Center. On February 24, 1968, Nancy was united in marriage to Richard Austin Riggle in Lexington, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2021. A woman who embraced the beauty of life, Nancy found great joy in the serene moments spent at Truman Lake, where she loved to immerse herself in the tranquil surroundings. Above all, her greatest delight came from her grandchildren, who filled her life with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
Nancy is survived by five children, Carol “Lynn” Hansen of Lexington, MO, William “Mike” (Deborah) Eastridge of Lexington, MO, Jacque Ann (Michael) Liese of Lexington, MO, Catherine “Cathy” Irene (Jeff) McGrath of Lexington, MO, and Teresa Michelle (Shawn) Kavanaugh of Shawnee, KS; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Along with both her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Dean Oles and Richard Eugene Oles.
