Nancy Sue Martin

Nancy Sue Martin, 85, of Kansas City, passed away May 17, 2025 at her home. Visitation will be Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Crossroads Church, 900 NW Jefferson Street, Grain Valley, Missouri. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Interment will be Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 12:00 pm at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, 20109 Business Highway 13, Higginsville, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Nancy was born May 2, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Claude and Ethel (Best) Lusher. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1958. On October 1, 1963 she married Lonzo Martin in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death August 8, 2016. Nancy worked for Midland Gas Station in Kansas City. She was a member of Rolling Meadows Christian Church and enjoyed crocheting, bowling and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Lonnie Martin (Mary) of Kansas City; five granddaughters; three great grandchildren; sisters, Sandy and Carol Anne Ladd; brother, Raymond Lusher; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
