Mary J. Jungeblut, 86, of Warrensburg, MO formerly of Lexington, MO passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at St. Marys Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO. Mary J. Long was born March 19, 1925 in Henrietta, MO, the daughter of Carl Edmond and Bertha Belle Turner Long. She married Leroy F. Jungeblut on January 26, 1951 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mrs. Jungeblut was with the Wentworth Laundry for many years and later was employed by Whitaker Cable Co. as a molder. She also served as Union Steward at Whitaker Cable. She was a member of the V.F.W. Womens Auxiliary. Mrs. Jungeblut is survived by three children: Dorothy Bryant, Lees Summit, MO, David L. Jungeblut, Sibley, MO. and Don O. Jungeblut, Warrensburg, MO. Two brothers: Wallace C. �Fat� Long, of Wisconsin and Ward M. �Skipper� Long. Two sisters: Pauline T. Grubb and Betty Lou Bowman. There are 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, March 23, 1983, her parents, three brothers: Don, Paul, and Joseph and a sister, Oma Smith. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington, MO. Burial in Higginsville City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family.
