Mary Jane Layton Bollmeyer Mary Jane Bollmeyer, 76, of Lexington, MO passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 after a long illness. Mary Jane Layton was born February 14, 1934 in Waverly, MO, the daughter of Charles Joseph Layton, Sr. and Mary Frances Tomlin Layton. She married John E. Bollmeyer on February 14, 1951 in Waverly. Mrs. Bollmeyer was a member of Solid Rock Fellowship Church (Assembly of God). She served as church secretary, Womens Missionary Leader and a Sunday School Teacher. She was a waitress at the Maid Rite in Lexington and the Blue Lantern in Waverly. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, on August 12, 2010, her parents, and a brother, Charles J. Layton, Jr. She is survived by three children: Larry Bollmeyer and wife, Debbie, Lawrence �Butch� Bollmeyer, and Linda Bollmeyer. Two grandchildren: Jonathan and wife, Carrie, and Tiffany Bollmeyer. One great-grandson, Andrew Michael Bollmeyer, all of Lexington, MO. Two brothers, George Layton and wife, Bonnie, and Bill Layton and wife, Sharon, of Waverly, MO. Two sisters, Anna Grinder of Waverly and Alice Leasure and husband, Wayne, of Greentop, MO. Two sisters-in-law, Frances Layton, Lexington and Ruby Bollmeyer, Warrensburg. There are many nieces and nephews. Services 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Solid Rock Fellowship Church (Assembly of God). Burial in Higginsville City Cemetery. Visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 31 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. Memorials may be made to the Bollmeyer Family Memorial.
