Margaret Louise (Twitchell) Wright of Lebanon, MO passed away peacefully on Thursday July 6, 2023 at Anew Health Care in Odessa, MO surrounded by family and friends and her Anew Health Care friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm Saturday July 15, 2023 at the Presbyterian Church, 914 Franklin Ave, Lexington, MO 64067.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Alzheimer Association or Anew Health Care in Odessa, MO in Margaret’s honor.
Margaret was born to Fred and Lillian (Jennings) Twitchell in Boonville, MO on November 9, 1936. Margaret was a hard worker and at times worked two and three jobs to provide for her family. She worked at Dunbrooke as a seamstress, Whitaker Cable and Detroit Tool where she retired. After retirement she was a caregiver for the elderly. Margaret loved to cook and was well known for her fried chicken. She loved cooking her family’s favorite meals. She also loved crocheting, quilting, fishing, gardening and canning. Margaret will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Margaret was baptized at First Baptist church in Lexington, MO early in life. She later reaffirmed her faith in church in Lebanon, MO. After moving back to Lexington in December she attended Lexington First Assembly of God.
Margaret is survived by six children, Pam (Wally) Ratliff, Jim (Jackie) Matney, Robin (Clair) Jensen, Doreen (Jay) Cromer, Tony Wright and Traci (Brad) Leach, 19 Grandchildren, 17 Greatgrandchildren and two on the way. Sisters Anna Mae Baldridge, Emma Lee Baldridge. A host of nieces and nephews and best friends Robert and Sherri Braden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, two grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.
