Lisa Sue (Vogler) Burns, 58, of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, Missouri, 64067, 660-259-2245. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 20109 Bus, MO-13, Higginsville, MO, 64037. Lisa was born on May 21, 1964, to Harold “Bud” and Linda (Hutchins) Vogler in Kansas City, MO. On June 21, 2002, she was united in marriage to Michael Shane Burns in Lexington, Missouri. He survives of the home. Lisa was not just a “homemaker,” she spent every moment taking care of those she loved. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she was an amazing cook, and enjoyed gardening, crafts, fishing, and spoiling her dogs.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lisa is survived her three sons, D.J. Peppers of Kingsville, MO, Dustin Tubbs of Blue Springs, MO, and Dalton Tubbs of Grain Valley, MO; two grandchildren, Addison Peppers and Bennett Tubbs; two sisters, Robin Garrison of Wellington, MO and Gail Dempsey of Independence, MO; one brothers Jeremy Vogler (Brandi) of Independence, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and wonderful friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Hutchins; and grandparents, Roger “Hutch” Hutchins, Dorothy Mae Brown, Rebecca Jane Vogler, and Leonard John Vogler.
