Funeral services for Mary Lou Wilson, 77, of Odessa, MO will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, Odessa. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 1 to 2 pm at the church. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery, Odessa, MO. Mrs. Wilson died on Thursday, August 08, 2012 at Golden Living Care Center, Independence, MO. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Koman Cancer Foundation. Mary Lou George was born on October 7, 1934 to Harold and Wastella Johnson George in Mexico, MO. She married Hugh F. Wilson on June 28th, 1952 in Mexico, MO. Mrs. Wilson is a member of the First Baptist Church, Odessa, MO. Mrs. Wilson had been a homemaker and had worked at Action Products, Odessa. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her Husband, Hugh, of the home. Four children, Joyce Cook, and husband, Darrell, Independence, Mo; Donna Van Winkle and husband James, Stover, MO; Kay Hawks and husband, Terry, Lees Summit, MO; and Janelle Shepherd and husband, Mike, Odessa, MO. There are 9 grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Additional survivors include two brothers, Lloyd George and wife, Mary Francis, Centralia, MO; Kenneth George, Mexico, MO; a sister Mildred Penn and husband, David, Mexico, MO.
