Kip Randall Beckman

Kip Randall Beckman, 70, of Mayview, Missouri, formerly of Wellington, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Blue Springs Wellness and Rehab in Blue Springs, Missouri.

The family has requested no services. Memorial donations are suggested to the St. Luke’s Evangelical Church, Wellington, Missouri or Beacon of Hope Hospice Center, Blue Springs, Missouri. Kip was born on February 10, 1955, in Lexington, Missouri, to Eldon Henry Beckman and Lois Imogene (Harlan) Beckman. He was baptized and confirmed at St Luke’s Evangelical Church, Wellington, Missouri.

Kip grew up on the family farm just south of Wellington. Following his dad on the farm, Kip enjoyed driving tractors, grain trucks and combines. Kip also took part in the Wellington-Napoleon 4-H Club where he found interest in raising pigs and enjoyed dog training and gun safety. Kip enjoyed trap shoots, hunting, fishing and farming.

Kip was a 1973 graduate of Wellington-Napoleon High School, where he enjoyed playing basketball, football and woodworking. After graduation Kip pursued his passion for truck driving. He drove trucks . . . hauling dirt, rocks, grain, anhydrous, asphalt, concrete, and propane. Kip completed the training for over-the-road driving and obtained his CDL. He often sent pictures home sharing his joy of traveling coast-to-coast while exploring the grand landscapes in every season.

Although Kip never married, he became the father of two sons. Kip is survived by his two children, Stephen William Sanders and family and James Justin Sanders and family. In addition to his children, Kip is survived by two siblings, Dale (Tammy) Beckman of Lexington, Missouri, Sally Crump (Paul Valadez) of Independence, Missouri, two nieces, two nephews, a great niece, a great nephew, and honorable mention to many close friends, Gary and Laurie Jackson, Kris Bingham, Terry Wilson aka Cuz, Kurt Randall, Teresa Orr, Kodak and Terry Monteer, Terri Sanders and many relatives and friends.

Kip was preceded in death by both his parents, and his beloved dog Gator.
