Keisha Marie Sisk, 31 of Weatherford, Texas formerly of Odessa, Missouri passed away due to an accident on Friday, October 13, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.
Keisha was born on June 22, 1992, in Liberty, Missouri to Keith and Marla (Harris) Sisk. She attended Blue Valley West High School in Overland Park, Kansas until her junior year. She then graduated in 2010 from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO where she was very active and excelled in cheerleading. After high school she attended Fort Hays State University and was a cheerleader. Keisha attended Woods Chapel Church of Odessa. She had a love for nature and life. Keisha loved hiking in national parks, finding perfect waterfalls to swim in, and always found the best views from the mountain tops. As it was very apparent through all her short videos on TikTok where the scenery was heavenly, and the music always paired perfectly. Keisha was a very accomplished Cosmetologist and Make-Up Artist. She graduated from Paul Mitchell The School of Arlington in Arlington, TX as Salutatorian. Keisha was currently employed with Bearded Beast on York in Weatherford, TX. Through all of Keisha’s accomplishments and her adventures, the one thing she always held closest to her heart and brought her the most joy was her beloved daughter, Layla Marie Byas.
Keisha is survived by her loving daughter, Layla Marie Byas; parents, Marla and Joe Hildebrand of Overland Park, KS; Keith and Penny Sisk of Odessa, MO; five sisters, Emma Hildebrand, Ave Hildebrand, Olivia Hildebrand all of Overland Park, KS, Devin Lewis and husband Mike of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Shawna Houx of Odessa, MO; three brothers, Joshua Brent Sisk of Lathrop, MO, Adam Whited and wife Bailey of Odessa, MO, and Kyle Whited and wife Julianna of Odessa, MO; paternal grandparents, Don and Peggy Pemberton of Odessa, MO; and maternal grandmother, Glenda Hildebrand of Lawrence, KS; Nieces and nephews, Taylor and Broc Dusek, Breann Sisk, Landon and Oakley Whited, Rylan Soendker, Hartlee Whited, and Brayden, Bryce, and Kenzlee Lewis; and many relatives, friends.
Keisha was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, J.C. and Donna Sisk; her maternal grandparents, Joe and Judy Brown, and Gordon Hildebrand.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Woods Chapel Church of Odessa, 813 MO-131, Odessa, MO, 64076. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Keith Sisk for an education fund to be established for Keisha’s daughter Layla.
