February 16, 1955 — April 30, 2020

Katherine “Katie” Adelina Gould, 65, of Lexington passed away April 30, 2020 at North Care Hospice House. Katie will lie in state for friends to call at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, Monday, May 4, 2020 from 9:00 until 11:30 am. Due to the current restrictions, the family will not be present. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2020 at the funeral home. Per CDC guidelines and city restrictions this will be limited to immediate family only. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation or the donor’s choice. Memories and condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245.

Katie was born February 16, 1955 in Lexington to Joe and Rhodesia Nicola. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church where she attended the Catholic School through the 8th grade. She graduated from Lexington High School. On July 26, 1975 she married the love of her life, Duane Gould, who survives of the home. Katie was a devoted mother to Shannon and wife Keely and Nathaniel and wife Lisa and a loving grandma “Sitti” to her grandchildren, Bryce, Averi, Ashton, Sawyer and Lucy. She was a homemaker and active supporter of Boy Scout Troop 611 for many years. Katie was kind, giving and the best friend. Her stories made you roar with laughter. She will be sorely missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.

In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, Katie is survived by her mother, Rhodesia Nicola; sister, Nanette Ferrara and husband Don and former daughter in law, Anneliese Tadlock.

Katie was preceded in death by her father, Joe Nicola; brother, Nicky Nicola; her devoted grandmother, Delina Mussatto and her paternal grandparents.
