Joyce Marie (Thomas) Wild, 64, of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at her home.
Due to the Covid19 restrictions, a private family graveside service will take place in the Bates City Cemetery, with a memorial service taking place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Research Center, checks may be written to Research Medical Center with Sarah Cannon in the memo line. Joyce was born on June 22, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri to Hadley Clinton Thomas and Edna Roberta (Nisser) Oliver. She graduated from Van Horn High School in Independence, MO. On November 30, 1973 Joyce was united in marriage to Michael “Mike” Albert Wild in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In addition to spending time with friends and family, Joyce enjoyed genealogy, crafting, sewing, playing any instrument she picked up, and working as a bus driver.
In addition to her husband, Mike, of 46 years, survivors include three children, Dawn Sheaffer and husband Michael of Odessa, MO, Clint Wild and wife Rhonda of Warrensburg, MO, and Annalee Monteer and husband Michael of Odessa, MO; one sister, Maryanna Crawford of Odessa, MO; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and many friends and relatives.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents.
