Homer Lee O'Dell, 80, of Wellington, passed away January 1, 2022 at Riverbend Heights, Lexington. A graveside service will be Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Homer was born February 7, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri to Homer and Florence (Jones) O'Dell. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1959. Homer was a property manager for rental properties and was a body builder.
Survivors include a son, Jerry O'Dell and wife Tracy of Geneva, Alabama; niece, Tracy Welsh of Wellington; and grandchildren, Timothy O'Dell and Ashley O'Dell of Geneva, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Phyllis Colvin; and brother, Jimmy O'Dell.
