Harry Eugene Stickley, 71, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri surrounded by his loving family.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Harvesters. Harry was born on October 9, 1953, in El Dorado Springs, Missouri to Roy Stickley and Daisy “Mamoe” Fern (Pryor) Forrest. Harry retired after 31 years of service from General Motors in Kansas City, KS. On May 9, 1987, Harry was united in marriage to Cindy Marie Riley in Liberty, Missouri. He was a member of United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 31, and Cowtown T’s Car Club. Harry was a guy who always liked to give back, especially during hunting season, he would donate any harvested meat to Harvester’s food pantry. One of his last acts of giving back, Harry was an organ donor and was able to help those in need by saving lives. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, had a passion and thrill for NASCAR, and Harry enjoyed hunting. Spending time with family and friends and being a father and papa were the most important things in his life.
Harry is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Marie (Riley) Stickley of the home, five children, Stephen Stickley of Lexington, MO, Scott (Denise) Stickley of Sibley, MO, Jennifer Morgan of Odessa, MO, Alissa (Timmy) Johns of Odessa, MO, and Michael (Jennifer) Morgan of Odessa, MO; twenty two grandchildren, Kjirstin, Khyree, Kirkland, Kati, Andreanna, Brooklynne, Breanne, Blake, Mackenzie, Bubba, Kage, Sydney, Morgan, Mollee, Lane, Cooper, Kinsley, Georgia, Maddox, Farrah, Kellan, and Lennox, sixteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Janie Hagan of Springfield, MO; three brothers, Howard (Liz) Stickley of Grain Valley, MO, Tommy Forrest of Harrisonville, MO, and Billy (Chris) Wilson of Jefferson City, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Along with his parents, Harry was preceded in death by a daughter, Serena Stickley; three sisters, Imogean Stickley, Jeanette Tolen and Glenda Lile; four brothers, Lawrence Stickley, David Stickley, Orbie Stickley and Harold Dean Stickley.
