Gail Leo Hibler, 85, of Odessa, Missouri passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Odessa Church of Christ, 210 N. 4th St., Odessa, Missouri. Lunch will be served, courtesy of the Hibler family. Memorials are suggested to the charity of your choice. Gail was born on November 6, 1939, in Bosworth, Missouri to Joseph M. and Bessie E. (Gates) Hibler. After receiving his GED, Gail enlisted in the United State Air Force, where he honorably served his country. On March 3, 1964, Gail was united in marriage to Cheryl Lee (Cronin) Hibler in Denver, Colorado. Gail devoted his entire working life to the field of agriculture as a farmer, where his unwavering commitment to hard work and dedication to the land shaped not only his life but also the lives of those around him.

Gail is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Hibler of the home; three children, Tammy (Dr. Timothy) Kesemann of Odessa, MO, Steven Hibler of Odessa, MO, and Kevin (Stephanie) Hibler of Odessa, MO; ten grandchildren, Derek (Nicole) Hinrichs, Justin Hibler, Alex (Darcy) Hibler, Clay (Sarah) Hibler, Eli (Payton) Hibler, Luke (Kenzie) Hibler, Sydney (Blaine) Kesemann, Tristin Kesemann, Cody (Samantha) Gabriel, and Michaela (John) Hibler, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Along with both his parents, Gail was preceded in death by a great grandchild, Thea Gabriel; three sisters, Ruby Griffin, Gladys Womack, and Katherine Cowan; four brothers, Joseph Hibler, Donald Hibler, Franklin Hibler, and Charles Hibler.
