Eunice Cosner Burnett

Eunice V. Burnett, 94, of Lexington, MO passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 at her home Eunice V. Cosner was born August 20, 1916 in Utica, MO, the daughter of Henry and Anna May Egbert Cosner. She married Homer L. Burnett on January 1, 1941. Eunice was a homemaker. She was a Presbyterian. Mrs. Burnett was a member of the Lexington Elks Lodge, and the Moose Lodge (Women of the Moose). Mrs. Burnett is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Hoeppner and husband, W. C. Hoeppner, Jr. of Lexington. One brother, Victor Cosner, of Lexington and six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer, on July 30, 1977, her parents, a daughter, Marilyn, three brothers, James, Vernon, and Charles and two sisters, Hazel Wright and Thelma Schoening. Services will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington, MO. (660)259-2245, Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Preferred Hospice or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
