Emmett “Kenny” Kenneth Nordsieck, Jr., 76, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Ignite Medical Resort in Blue Springs, Missouri surrounded by his loving family.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Lexington United Methodist Church, 1211 S. Business Hwy 13, Lexington, Missouri 64067. Memorials are suggested to the Lexington Community Fair where he volunteered much time. Memories of Kenny and condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com. Kenny was born November 25, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri to Emmett Kenneth and Fern LaVere (West) Nordsieck Sr. After high school, Kenny proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army where he served in Vietnam.

Kenny was united in marriage on June 7, 1969, to Mildred Frances (Zeller) Nordsieck in Lexington, Missouri. She preceded him in death on April 4, 2022. Kenny worked in retail management at Harold’s Supermarket and at Nerd’s Hardware serving Lexington for his entire career. Along with spending time with family and friends, Kenny’s greatest joys were gardening and wood crafting.

Kenny is survived by two children, Ken (Cathy) Nordsieck of Lexington, MO and Amy Nordsieck of Lexington, MO; five grandchildren, Josh (Kelsey) Nordsieck, Brandon Nordsieck, Emily Nordsieck, Ryan Nordsieck, and Nikki Goff; five great-grandchildren, Blaine, Issac, Mason, Maddie, and Raya; one brother, Ike Nordsieck of Enid, OK; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Along with both his parents and wife, Kenny was preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia Chapman and Diane Howard; and one sister-in-law, Linda Nordsieck.
