Edwin (Ed, Eddy) Leslie Faulwell, AKA Elf, 65, of Lexington passed peacefully away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at home with his loving family.
Ed was born March 1, 1955 to Wade Leslie Faulwell and Blanche Strickland Faulwell Brown in El Paseo, Texas. Ed's family moved to Odessa, MO where he graduated from Odessa High. He was employed at Community Lumber in Lexington where he was known as Mr. Fix-it. He was previously employed at Lafayette Plumbing and Heating and Whittiker Cable. Ed was known for his love of motorcycle Harleys, arrowhead hunting, and carving as well as camping with Joni. He and JoAnna Lynn (Joni) Kalthoff Arbogast married December 17, 1988. Ed was loving husband, amazing Dad and Papa as well as an honorable son, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor. Ed had a way of just being there when he was needed no matter who or what it was.
Ed is survived by his daughter Meagan Arbogast; grandchildren, Hailey Kalthoff Arbogast and Andrew Riley Miller; Mother, Blanch Brown; sisters, Ramona (Lee) Weeks and Maria (Michael) Perrault; brother, Gary (Mia) Faulwell; sisters-in-law, Karen (Jim) Meierer and Michelle (Monte) Railey; brother-in-law, Bill Kalthoff; mother-in-law, Lois Kalthoff; nieces, Angela Moeller, Sarah Vick, Piper Kalthoff, and Anna (Lance) Barlow; nephews, Jimmy Meierer, Jeff Meierer and Josh Meierer, Philip (Jenny) Cowhick; great niece and nephew, Sonnie and Stephen Weeks; great nieces, Cody (Brett) Fairchild, Chastity Meierer, Ashlynn Meierer, Brooklyn, Irelyn and Danilyn Meierer, Caitlyn Moeller and Kate Barlow; great nephews, Kyle Knapp-Meierer, Kenny Rogers, John Meierer, Grayson Cowhick, Michael Moeller and Carter Barlow; great great nieces, Parker Fairchild and Blakely Bird and great great nephew, Abel Fairchild. He was preceeded in death by his loving wife, Joni; his father, Wade Faulwell; father in law, Carl J.F. Kalthoff, two brother in laws, John Kalthoff and Steven Kalthoff.
He will be sorely missed by us all. As many of you are aware he did not wish for a service at this time.
Donations may be sent to the 1st Baptist Church of Lexington, Any local motorcycle club or a donation for the education of Hailey and Bubby in care of Karen Meierer.
Thank you to all of you who supported both him and us on this journey.
