Donna L. Lammers

Donna L. Lammers, 84, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2026, at Columbus Christian Church Cemetery in Columbus, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Donna was born on April 10, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Franklin L. and Lenore Grace (Crane) Lammers. She grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Northeast High School, carrying with her the values of hard work, humility, and kindness that would define her life.

She devoted 36 years of her career to Western Auto, working as a tax accountant. Donna was known for her dedication, her steady nature, and the pride she took in doing her work well. She was not one to seek attention, but those who worked alongside her knew her as dependable, thoughtful, and quietly caring.

Donna’s faith was a guiding light throughout her life. As a faithful member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she found strength, comfort, and community. She lived her faith not only in words, but in the way she treated others—with compassion, patience, and grace.

Outside of work, Donna found her greatest happiness at home on her farm. She had a special love for animals and took great joy in caring for them. Whether tending to chores, enjoying the peace of the land, or spending time with family and friends, Donna cherished the simple moments that made life meaningful. She had a gentle spirit and a warm heart, and she created a sense of comfort wherever she was.

Donna is survived by her nephew, Patrick Bradshaw of Liberty, Missouri; her great-niece, Stephanie Morris; her great-nephew, Frank Morris; and many extended relatives and friends who will forever remember her kindness and the quiet way she made a difference in their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Vera J. Morris; and her special friend, Hazel Smith.

Donna will be remembered for her steady presence, her love of animals, her strong faith, and the simple, genuine way she lived her life. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her
