Delenna Joe (Smith) Beyer, 66, of Lexington, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 2, 2024, at Riverbend Heights in Lexington, Missouri.

Delenna was born October 20, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri to Norman Dean and Beulla Ann (Eggman) Smith. She graduated from Northeast High School. Delenna tended and cared for the home most of her life where she raised her children. Delenna was united in marriage to Terrell Beyer in Higginsville, Missouri on December 2, 1995. He preceded her in death of January 5, 2016. Along with spending time with family and friends, Delenna enjoyed crosswords, puzzles, and collecting unicorns.      

 

Delenna is survived by five children, Lisa Lawson of Lexington, MO, Thomas Rogers of Lansing, MI, Mendy File, Terrell Beyer, Jr., and Joseph “Joey” Beyer; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; five sisters, Velva Baynes, Samantha Smith, Emilie Smith, Audrey Thompson, and Susan Hill; four brothers, Norman Smith, Johnny Ashby, Lloyd Smith, and Jimmy Ashby; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

 

Along with both her parents and husband, Delenna was preceded in death by two sisters, Dian Howell and Nancy Farley; and her grandson, Robert “Alex” Brooks.
