Danny Lee Mais

On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, Danny Lee Mais passed peacefully at his home in Dover, Missouri. Visitation will be Friday, October 4, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, Lexington. A funeral service will be Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dover Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Cathy Mais.



Danny was born April 26, 1958 in Lexington, Missouri to Shorty and Mary Ann Mais. He worked 34 years at Enersys in Warrensburg and had since retired. On November 25, 1992 he married Cathy Ann Miller and they became a blended family of six.



Danny loved hunting, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and farming with the Schreier family. He also loved showing off his classic t-bucket. Danny had some of the best stories and enjoyed sharing them with his many friends and family. He had been a Dover resident for most of his life and was very active in the community.



Danny was preceded in death by his father, Shorty Mais. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann; his wife, Cathy; their four children, Aaron (Kalie) Mais, Sara (Charles) White, Martha (Keith) Randall and Tressa (Joey) Glazier; his sister, Kelly (Richard) Clouse, brothers-in-law, Jeff (Ann) Miller and Larry (Janet) Miller, sisters-in-law, Sandra (Delbert) Abel and Carol Wilson; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
