Danny Dewayne Eaton, Sr., 68, of Lexington, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, surrounded by the love, comfort, and presence of his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Lexington V.F.W. Post 4052, 3109 Franklin Ave., Lexington, MO. Military Honors will follow at 1:30 p.m. Afterward, family and friends are invited to stay, share a meal, and swap stories, laughter, and memories of “Dan the Man”—a nickname he earned through his big personality, strong presence, and unforgettable spirit. Danny was born on January 28, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Morris E. and Marjorie (Davis) Eaton. Raised in Lexington, he carried with him the values of hard work, loyalty, and family throughout his entire life. He attended school in Lexington and went on to proudly serve his country in the Army National Guard, an experience that remained a point of pride for him.

On June 16, 1990, Danny married the love of his life, Kathy G. Ralston. Their life together was built on love, dedication, and a shared commitment to their family. Danny was a provider in every sense of the word—not just through his work, but through the strength, guidance, and steady presence he gave to those he loved.

Danny poured his heart into the concrete business, founding D&D Concrete in 1992. He wasn’t afraid of long days, tough jobs, or getting his hands dirty—he took pride in honest work and in building something that would last. That same pride lives on today through Triple E Concrete, where his legacy continues through his family.

Outside of work, Danny felt most at home on his motorcycle, especially his Harley-Davidson. Whether it was riding through the countryside or making the trip to Sturgis, those moments on the open road brought him peace and freedom. But no matter where he went, he was always happiest when he was with his family.

More than anything, Danny was a family man. He loved big, and he showed it in the way he took care of those around him. His children and grandchildren were the center of his world, and there was nothing he enjoyed more than being “Dad” and “Grandpa.” From everyday moments to special milestones, he was always there—steady, proud, and full of love. He left the very best of himself in all of them.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy G. Eaton of Lexington; his children, Danny Eaton, Jr. and wife Tanya, Larry Eaton and companion Theola Jones, Baylie Mueller and husband Wade, Keith Eaton and wife Jessica, Dustin Eaton and wife Christin, and Danyell Eaton, all of whom carry forward his strength and spirit; ten grandchildren, Andrew, Logan, Drake, Zoee, Amelia, Beau, Sutton, Brayden, Carson, and Willie, who were his pride and joy; one great-grandchild, Lakelyn Eaton; and long time friend, Alfred Mallott Jr.

Danny is also survived by his sisters, Betty (Jerry) Leach, Peggy (Jack) Reynolds, Marsha Masten, Cheryl (Bruce) Wandell, Tammy Eaton, and Sandy Eaton; his brothers, Steve (Cindy) Eaton and Terry (Janice) Eaton; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who will forever remember his humor, his stories, and the way he made people feel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patsy Eaton; and brothers, Ronnie Eaton and Larry Eaton.

Danny will be remembered as a man who worked hard, loved deeply, and lived life on his own terms. He was strong, dependable, and full of heart—a man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Though he may be gone from this world, his voice, his laughter, and his love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
