Claudia Ruth Merritt, 64, of Lexington, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her daughter�s home.
Claudia Ruth Merritt was born October 18, 1951 in California, the daughter of Alvie Merritt and Pauline Delaney. Ruth was raised by Pauline Haley and Romie Haley, Sr. She had worked at the Higginville Habilitation Center as a Developmental Assistant for fourteen years.
Ruth is survived by her mother, Pauline Haley, Richmond, MO. Children: Tammy Weber, Lexington and Jay Merritt, Huntsville, MO. Two brothers: Alvin Merritt, Jr., Kansas City, MO and Romie Haley, Jr., Hardin, MO. Two sisters: Terri Wyrick, Riley, KS and Cheryl Lee VanBebber, Riley, KS. A daughter-in-law, Melinda Reed. There are seven grandchildren
As per Ruth�s wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services, however, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
