Christine “Chris” Marie (Stauber) Repphun, 75, of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas surrounded by her loving family.
A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2024, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. Visitation will follow from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2024, at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 401 W. Broadway St., Higginsville, MO, 64037. A private family inurnment will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested Chapter HX P.E.O. Chris was born on January 22, 1949, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Raymond Frank and Leona Margaret (Buechler) Stauber. She graduated in 1967 from North High School in Sheboygan, WI. Chris was united in marriage to Michael Repphun on June 21, 1969, at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Chris worked for the Lexington R-V School District for many years as a Secretary and retired in July of 2005 as the Head Bookkeeper for the district office. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Higginsville, MO as well as the Altar Society, Chapter HX P.E.O. where she held many positions in the Lexington chapter, a patient advocate for Fresenius Dialysis Board, and Cards With A Cause (CWAC). In addition to spending time with her family, Chris enjoyed gardening, traveling, fishing, hosting family dinners and socializing with friends.
Chris is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Michael Repphun of Lexington, MO; three children, Steven Repphun and wife Gina of Lexington, MO, Charlie Repphun and wife Kim of Lexington, MO and Andrea Repphun and husband Kevin Touney of Olympia, Washington; four grandchildren, Shane Repphun, Gwen Touney, Claire Touney, and Ian Touney; two sisters, Lucia Huibregtse of Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Patricia Thompson of Milwaukee, WI; a brother, Steve Stauber and wife Elizabeth of Sheboygan, WI; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Chris was preceded in death by her parents.
