Charles Keith Hannon, 71, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Sunday, May 5, 2026, at Centerpoint Medical Center.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2026, at Second Missionary Baptist Church. 1201 Main Street, Lexington, MO 64067. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memories of Charles and condolences for his family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page. In Lieu of flowers, please send a donation in memory of Charles Keith Hannon to Second Missionary Baptist Church. Charles was born on March 6, 1955, in Kansas City, Kansas to Francis Pettinial (Akers) Hannon. Charles was a proud graduate of Lexington High School in 1974 and went on to earn an associate degree from Wentworth Military Academy in 1976. His dedication to personal growth continued through various pursuits, including his time at Kimpo Karate in Blue Springs during 1983-1984. Charles dedicated many years of his life to his work at Trademarks in Higginsville, where he was known not just for his work ethic, but also for his warmth and kindness. An avid learner and history enthusiast, he enjoyed spending time immersed in books, karaoke, and watching movies, often sharing these interests with his beloved family.
Charles is survived by his daughter LaKisha (Richard) Headley of McDonough, GA; two grandchildren, Richard Headley III and Liam Headley; two sisters, Wilma (Theodis) Strong of Kansas City, MO and Theresa (Tommy) Henderson of Kansas City, MO; and many other relatives and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
