Bonnie Jean (Jacks) Barker, 77, passed away on June 8, 2026.
Bonnie was born on March 17, 1949, in Clinton, Missouri. She often joked that she was born on St. Patrick's Day and proudly told anyone who asked that she was a "green baby." She attended Clinton schools and graduated from Clinton High School in 1967. She was born to Warren Earnest Jacks and Lillian Frances (Worley) Jacks, both of whom preceded her in death.
Bonnie enjoyed life's simple pleasures and the freedom of the outdoors. She loved horseback riding, taking scenic rides with Jerry on their motorcycles and three-wheeled roadsters, taking trips with family and friends, and country-western dancing. She also enjoyed spending time on her computer, where she could often be found playing solitaire.
Bonnie will be remembered for her sense of humor, her independent spirit, and the joy she found in life. Above all, she will be remembered for her loving heart, her compassion for both people and animals, and the kindness she showed throughout her life. Her generosity and caring spirit touched the lives of many, and her influence will continue to be felt for years to come. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Barker, who passed away on February 23, 2025.
In accordance with her wishes, Bonnie will be cremated and no formal services are planned.
