Beverly Sue Martinitz, 90, of Odessa, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on May 10, 2026. Born in Levasy, MO on February 28, 1936. Beverly was the beloved daughter of Clarence and Vesta Wulfekammer. She graduated from Buckner High School in 1954.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home 306 South Second Street, Odessa, MO, 64076.
A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Ebenezer Cemetery (Bone Hill Cemetery) 37704 E. Bone Hill Road, Sibley, MO 64088. Beverly will be remembered for her love of family, her strength and the warmth she shared with those around her throughout her life. She especially loved tending to her yard and flowers, taking great pride and joy in creating beauty around her home. She also loved reading and spending time outdoors.
Alongside her husband, Fred, Beverly co-owned and operated Distec, Inc. for 36 years. They started the business in North Carolina before settling in Odessa, MO in 1987. Together, Beverly and Fred shared a love for traveling and playing golf. One of Beverly’s favorite places to visit was Pagosa Springs, CO, where she enjoyed the beauty and peace of the mountains.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Vesta Wulfekammer, her brother, Max Wulfekammer; and her husband, Fred Martinitz.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Russ) Shakeshaft; her grandchildren, Caitlin (Paul) McClain, Matt Shakeshaft, Erin (Parker) Hofbauer, Sean Shakeshaft, Jason Shakeshaft, and Melissa (TJ) Thompson; and her great-grandchildren, Ada and Pace McClain, Chevelle, Shelby and Robbie Shakeshaft, Josie and Cooper Hofbauer and Cannon and Kylie Thompson.
Beverly’s family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with her and the lasting impact she made on their lives.
