Anna Catherine (Cretzmeyer) Lindgren, 87 of Leeton, Missouri formerly of Lexington, MO passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Meyer Care Center in Higginsville, MO surrounded by her loving family.

A rosary will be recited on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 9:45 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 401 W. Broadway St., Higginsville, MO, 64037. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2025, at the church. Rite of Committal will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lexington, MO. Memorials are suggested to Bella Vista Community, 11453 Outrigger Dr., Willis, TX, 77318 or an Autism program of your choice. Anna was born on December 9, 1937, in Lexington, MO to George August and Anna Rachel (Arth) Cretzmeyer. She attended first through eighth grade at Immaculate Conception Catholic school, Anna graduated in 1955 from Lexington High School. She was united in marriage to Lyle Dean Kumm on January 19, 1957, in Lexington, MO. They later divorced. On December 14, 1996, Anna was united in marriage to Richard Lindgren in Sedalia, MO. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2010. Anna started her working career at a grocery store in the Germantown part of Lexington, later moving on to Hallmark Cards, during a time when greeting cards were still handwritten. Finally, Anna retired after 30 years of service from Waterloo Industries in Sedalia, MO. During all her working career, she was such a dedicated employee that she usually found herself in supervisory positions. She was a member of Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit, MO. Anna always had a caring soul and enjoyed being a member of the Kiwanis Club in Sedalia and volunteering at Bothwell Hospital. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Anna enjoyed sewing, dancing, putting puzzles together, snowbirding in Texas and traveling.

Anna is survived by six children, Terianne Chavez of Clinton, MO, Karl (April) Kumm of Conroe, TX, Walter Eugene (Jackie) Kumm of Leeton, MO, Joan (John) Stout of Holden, MO, Patrick George Kumm of Arnold, MO, and Angela Carol Wilson of Lee’s Summit, MO; 14 grandchildren, Samuel Chavez, Zachariah (Carolyn) Chavez, Matthew Kumm, David Kumm, Rachel Agcopra (Seth McCubbin), Jacob (Cindy) Kumm, Michelle Reed, Nickolas (Katlinne) Stout, Joshua Livingston, Joseph Livingston, Burt Schlagle, Diana (Spencer) Hiestand, Manuel (Jordan) Guerra, and Alberto (Erin) Guerra; 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth “Betty” (Hugh) Pickell of Lee’s Summit, MO; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Cretzmeyer of Higginsville, MO and Sue Cretzmeyer of Lexington, MO; one brother-in-law, Albert Ryun of Dover, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Flanigan and Josephine Ryun; two brothers, George August Cretzmeyer, Jr. and Walter “Bill” Cretzmeyer; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Cretzmeyer, and a brother-in-law, Tom Flanigan.
