Anita (Weinstein) Jablonski, 98 of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Villages of Jackson Creek in Independence, MO.
A Rite of Committal will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the Odessa Cemetery in Odessa, MO. Memorials are suggested Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Turman Rd., Kansas City, MO, 64137. Anita was born on September 18, 1925, in Beverly, Massachusetts to Fred and Anna (Abolin) Weinstein. She graduated from John Marshall High School in Chicago, Illinois. On December 1, 1962, Anita was united in marriage to Dick Jablonski in Chicago, IL. He later preceded her in death. Anita and Dick resided in Odessa for many years before Anita relocated in Oak Grove. Anita worked for Halo Lighting in Chicago, IL for 30 plus years in quality control before retiring. She was a devoted to her Catholic Faith. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Anita enjoyed collecting coins, stamps, antiques and commemorative plates.
Survivors include two nieces, Janice (Paul) Juarez of Grain Valley, MO and Anna Weinstein of California; a nephew, Gene Lyczak of Chicago, IL; a great-niece, Krista (Justin) Newgaard of Grain Valley, MO and a great-nephew, James VanBuren of Odessa, MO; and many relatives and friends.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and many siblings.
