Wesley Charles “W.C.” Hoeppner, Jr., 81, of Lexington, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245 with Reverend Liz Deveney officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6520 N. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. W.C. was born on October 27, 1935 in rural Lexington, MO to Wesley Charles Hoeppner, Sr. and Freda Helena (Jaspering) Hoeppner. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1953. He served in the Army Reserve for many years. On January 26, 1963 W.C. married Bonnie Lee (Burnett) Hoeppner in Lexington at the Trinity United Church of Christ. He was a Farmer his entire life and farmed the family ground. W.C. was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ Church, FFA, Young Farmers Association, and the Elks Lodge Post 749 in Lexington. In addition to spending time with his family and friends, W.C. enjoyed hunting and fishing.

W.C. is survived by his wife, Bonnie Hoeppner of Lexington, MO; three children, Cindy Ryun and husband Rick of Corder, MO, Gary Hoeppner and wife Kathy of Lexington, MO and JoAnna Hoeppner of Columbia, MO; seven grandchildren, Ricky Ryun, Bradlee Ryun, Nathan Ryun, Kalie Mais and husband Aaron, Jamie Liese and husband Leland (Bubba), Peter Huggler and Natalie Huggler; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Geraldine Hendrix of Gladstone, MO, Marilyn Kroge of Kearney, MO and Donna Cobb of North Kansas City, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, W.C. was preceded in death by a brother, David Lee Hoeppner and a sister, Janice Darlene Soendker.
