Thomas Freddie Howell, 70 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.

Thomas was born on May 11, 1948 in South Carolina to Thomas Blaine and Clara Helen (Bartholomew) Howell. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence, MO. He worked at Action Products for many years. In 2000 Thomas was united in marriage to Anita Louise (Clark) Howell. She survives of the home. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Odessa. Thomas was a past member of the Lion’s Club. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Thomas enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, bowling, NASCAR, model trains and he was an avid Chiefs fan. He was a very loving father, grandfather, and son that will forever be missed.
Survivors include his wife Anita Howell of Odessa, MO; four children, Karen Howell of Tucson, Arizona, Kelly Michelle Howell of Odessa, MO, Janice Ballenger of Odessa, MO and Mary Mead and companion Kwesi Bell of Warrensburg, MO; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, one brother, Jim Howell and wife Cathy of Independence, MO; one sister, Denise Goodmon of Lee’s Summit; and a brother-in-law, Steve Goodmon of Raymore, MO.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a son Chad Howell.
