Sharron Lynn (Hobbs) Day, 82 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2021, at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2021, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Odessa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a Cemetery Association of Donor’s Choice. Sharron was born on March 24, 1939, in Odessa, MO to George Allen and Cleo Ann (Peal) Hobbs. She graduated in 1957 from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO. On June 23, 1960, Sharron married Orville Lee Day in Odessa. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Sharron retired from Odessa Junior High School as a Secretary after 17 years. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Sharron enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband Orville, traveling, camping, sewing, cooking, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include Sharron’s husband Orville Lee Day of Odessa, MO; four children, Gayle Bainbridge and husband Jim of Bates City, MO, Donna Snyder and husband Jim of Odessa, MO, Jill Cooper and husband Matt of Napoleon, MO, and Michael Day and wife Karen of Odessa, MO; eight grandchildren, Tyler Bainbridge and significant other Meredith Lindberg, Adrienne Lorence and husband Derek, Ashlee Snyder-Cox and husband Tyler, Austin Snyder and wife Elizabeth, Garrett Day and wife Demi, Nathan Campbell and wife Kyleigh, Allyson Day and significant other Logan Green, and Julee Busker and husband Tyler; ten great-grandchildren, Ellie, Clara and Bodie Lorence, Burkeley Cox, Roman and Jude Snyder, Kinleigh, Easton, and Adalynn Day, and Andi Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharron was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Duane Day; a granddaughter, Lauren Ann Bainbridge; and four sisters, Eleanor Specker, Frances Halsey, Norma Gadd, and Shirley McNeece.
