Rose Mary Duffett

Rose Mary (Schwermer) Duffett, 79, of Overland Park, Kansas, formerly of Lexington, passed away November 4, 2020 at The Heritage of Overland Park Nursing Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245. A graveside service will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lexington. Rose Mary was born September 8, 1941 in Lexington to Harry William and Mary Dolly (Rostine) Schwermer. She worked as a beautician and a salvage technician for Lake City. On September 3, 1966 she married Charles M. Duffett in Kansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death. Rose Mary attended First Baptist Church in Lexington.



Survivors include her son, Robert Duane Duffett and partner Bonnie of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Joshua Horton and wife Kristi of The Woodlands, Texas and Charles Duffett of Louisville, Kentucky; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Paula Sue Boothe; brothers, Bill Schwermer, Harold Schwermer and Glenn Schwermer; and sister, Ann Marie Spradlin.
