Robert Lee "Bob" Link answered Christ's call on Monday May 27, 2019 at Lafayette Regional Hospital, with his wife by his side. Bob, the youngest of eleven children, was born in Higginsville, MO on November 30, 1939, to Adolph Henry Link and Mary Catherine (Keithley) Link.

Bob was married to Shirley (Anderson) Link, for the past 32 years and resided in Lexington, MO where he was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church and the Elks Lodge. After being drafted into the US Army Infantry in 1963, he attained the rank Specialist E-4, and was honorably discharged in 1965. Bob shortly went to work for Lake City Arsenal, and retired after 34 years of service, in 1999. Bob also owned his own lawn care service, for 25 plus years, which he mowed local cemeteries and yards. Up to his passing, you could always find him proudly, worrying and displaying his yard work. Bob enjoyed fishing, was an enthusiast of hot rods and an avid dirt track race fan, spending many Friday and Saturday nights sitting in turn four.

He is survived by his sisters Ruth (Earl) Roderick, Joyce (Sam) VanSandt, and Joann Opfer. Bob is also survived by those of his immediate family, that he dearly loved: his wife Shirley, three step-sons Scott (Stephanie) Anderson, Eric (Deborah) Anderson, Lance (Debbie) Anderson. Children from his first marriage Pamela (Gabe) Madison, Cathy (Kevin) Miller, Michael Link, and step-daughter Brenda (Bart) Brackman. Fourteen grandchildren(Bailey, Rebecca, Charlie, Alexandra, Olivia, Tristen, Izabella, Danielle, Keagan, Kaliska, Dan R, Dakota, Brooke, and Bradley), and fifteen great-grandchildren.
