Richard “Kent” Sanders, 57, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd Street, Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. A graveside celebration of life will take place afterwards at 12:00 p.m. at the Higginsville City Cemetery, 2275-2491 Lipper Ave, Higginsville, MO 64037. Memorials are suggested to Bikers for Babies. Kent was born on May 28, 1962 in Camdenton, MO to James and Loretta Lydia (Diestelkamp) Sanders. He was a graduate of Odessa High School. Kent was employed by the Ford Motor Plant for over 27 years. He was a member of the UAW 249 local. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Kent was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast.
Kent is survived by his cousin, Darren Schloman of Odessa, MO and a host of treasured friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
