Nathan Allen Skaggs, 45, of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at his home.

Nathan was born on November 7, 1973 in Independence, MO to Virgil and Judy (Bagby) Skaggs. After attending Fort Osage High School in Independence, he worked as a machinist. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Nathan enjoyed metal detecting, arrowhead hunting, metal working, inventing and being outdoors. He was passionate about working and loved all animals.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Virgil and Carol Skaggs of Oak Grove, MO; four children, Dustin and Prestan Skaggs, both of Gatlinburg, TN, and Jonathan and Makenzie Skaggs, both of Odessa, MO; one step-son, Christian Shafer of Odessa, MO; one sister, Kathleen Guffey of Odessa, MO; one step-brother, Randy Frampton of Oak Grove, MO; one step-sister, Terri Brooks of Odessa, MO; and the mother of two of his children and step-son, Tina Dravenstott.
Nathan was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Bagby.
