    Michael Glenn Soendker

    February 21, 1997 - October 28, 2019

    Michael Glenn Soendker, 22 of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away on October 28, 2019 in Kansas City, MO. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, 4725 NE Lakewood Way, Lee’s Summit, MO 64064. At 5:00 p.m. there will be a ceremony performed by the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 4, 2019 at the church. Interment will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery in Wellington, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Glenn Soendker, the family will choose a charity later. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Michael was born on February 21, 1997 in Kansas City, MO to Glenn Alan and Sally Ann (Nigro) Soendker. He graduated from Blue Springs South High School in 2015. After high school, Michael attended the Missouri State University in Springfield, MO and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Parks & Recreation Administration. He was a member of the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit, MO. Michael was an Eagle Scout in Troop 255, obtained the rank of Firebuilder in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, and also a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Michael was a Licensed Independent Insurance Agent. In addition to spending time with family, friends and pets, Michael enjoyed snowboarding, golfing, bicycling, and anything outdoors. Family include Michael’s parents, Glenn and Sally Soendker of Lee’s Summit, MO; sisters, Gabrielle Soendker of Lee’s Summit, MO, Ashley Herron and husband John of Blue Springs, MO, Lindsey Moore and husband Tyson of Lee’s Summit, MO; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Carmaline Nigro of Independence, MO; three nephews, Blake Rogers, Owen and Levi Moore; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Bernice Soendker.
