Mary Jane (Gadt) Woodward, 86, of Lexington passed away December 14, 2020 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs. A private burial will be December 20, 2020 at Lexington Memory Gardens Cemetery. Cremation has been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245. Memories an condolences may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com. Mary Jane was born April 16, 1934 in Lexington to Karl and Sarah (Sandifer) Gadt. She owned Mary Jane’s Beauty Shop in Lexington for 68 years. Mary Jane married William “Jack” Franklin Lamar Woodward June 24, 1954 in Osceola, MO. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. Mary Jane enjoyed bird watching, attending her son’s wrestling events, going to the farm in Osceola, and spending time with her dog and her friends and family.

Survivors include her children, Jackie Johnston of Lexington, William “Scott” Woodward of Excelsior Springs, Christopher Woodward of Oak Grove and Eric Woodward of Lexington; grandchildren, Nicholas Scott Woodward, Shelby Woodward-Scott and husband Andre Scott, Chelsey Cheyenne Johnston, Carter Ryan Woodward and Amanda K. Woodward-Dallman and husband Joe Dallman, companion, Robert “Bob” Jenkins of Lexington; his children, Cathy Pohle, Robert Jenkins and Chuck Jenkins and his grandchildren.. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and siblings, Jim Gadt, Bob Gadt and Anna Ray-Lierman.
