Leonard Dale McCormick

Leonard Dale McCormick, 93, of Raytown, formerly of Lexington, passed away December 16, 2021 at Lakewood Care Center, Lee's Summit. A graveside service with Military Honors will be Monday, December 20, 2021 at Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 South Street, Lexington, MO 64067, 660-259-2245.
Leonard was born January 29, 1928 in Central, New Mexico to Alpha and Maude (Hurst) McCormick. He served in the United States Navy and later worked as a structural engineer. On September 3, 1948 he married Helen Martha Williams in Lexington.
Leonard is survived by his wife, of the home; children, Larry McCormick of Waterloo, Illinois, Rita Rollinson of Raytown and Norma Ogroski of Tuscon, Arizona; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Alan McCormick; brother, William Hurst and sister, Louise Wright.
