Karter Lee Walker, 5 months old, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Tuesday August 6, 2019 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Karter was born February 22, 2019 to Harley and Paige (Smith) Walker in Independence, MO. Karter only had 5 short months on this earth, but he brought so much love, joy and touched so many lives during that time.
Karter is survived by his parents, Harley and Paige Walker of Independence, MO; a brother, Deshaun Hinkle; paternal grandparents, Pam Barker of Oak Grove, MO and Jerry Walker of Raytown, MO; maternal grandparents, Michele Hinkle of Buckner, MO and Glen Smith of Tonganoxie, Kansas; paternal great-grandparents, Clinton and Deanna Yates of Odessa, MO and Shirley Murray of Oak Grove, MO; maternal great-grandparents, Jan and David Maxwell of Buckner, MO; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
