Jeanette Lee (O’Brien) Thomas, 53 of Odessa, Missouri passed away on Monday October 1, 2018 at home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home, 306 S. 2nd St., Odessa, MO, 64076, 816-633-5524. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Jeanette was born on September 11, 1965 in Liberty, MO to Alan Irl and Phyllis Eileen (Hughes) O’Brien. She graduated from Odessa High School in Odessa, MO. On November 22, 1998 she married William “Bill” Glenn Thomas in Odessa, MO. He survives of the home. Jeanette attended New Life Church in Oak Grove, MO and volunteered for the New Life Food Pantry at the church. Jeanette was a homemaker. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Jeanette enjoyed babysitting her grandson, Wyatt Tristin Thomas, raising Arabian and Appaloosa Horses, Boston Terrier dogs, and being the Pit Chief (making sure the boys were taking care of and everything got done) for the Thomas Brothers Racing. Her biggest accomplishment was her family, Jeanette loved them more than anything and will continue to watch over them.
In addition to her parents and husband, survivors include four children, William K. Thomas of Odessa, MO, Codie Jo Seeber and husband Jake of Shawnee, Kansas, Seth Ethan Thomas and Dustin Glenn Thomas both of Odessa, MO; 4 grandchildren; two brothers, Russell Irl O’Brien and Darrel Leslie O’Brien both of Ocala, Florida; father and mother-in-law, Marvin Dale and Barbara Louise Thomas of Grain Valley, MO.
