James Edwin Dysart

James "Jim" Edwin Dysart, 68, of Marshall, Missouri formerly of Dover, MO passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at The Living Center in Marshall, MO.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home, 1720 S. St., Lexington, MO, 64067, 660-259-2245. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m., at the Dover Cemetery in Dover, MO on Friday, December 17, 2021. Memorials are suggested to the Dover Cemetery Association. Jim was born on November 20, 1953, in Carrollton, MO to Edwin "Bill" and Alice Louise (Schumaker) Dysart. He graduated in 1971 from Lexington High School in Lexington, MO. Jim was a farmer helping on the family farm in Dover. He was a member of the Dover Christian Church. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Jim had two loves, the first was the Kansas City Chiefs, with Patrick Mahomes being his favorite player; the second was, Sprint Car races. Jim's favorite racers were his relatives, Tom Corbin, Danny "The Dude" Lasoski and Brian Brown.

Survivors include a stepmother, Ethol Dysart of Marshall, MO; one sister, Connie Wellman of Higginsville; three stepsisters, Sue Fowler and husband Sam, Peggy Scudder and husband Chuck and Micki Uhrig and husband Jack, all of Marshall, MO; one nephew, Chad Wellman of Higginsville; one great-nephew, Parker Bracy; two great-nieces, Madison and Carlie Wellman; one great-great niece, Kenlee Gilkey; and many cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a niece, Alicson Bracy.
